Flew from manchester to sharm el sheikh (boeing 737-800) and really enjoyed the flight, great cabin crew very friendly, legroom was ok not the best though epically when Manchester to sharm el sheikh is a pretty long short haul flight if that makes sense ordered a panini from the eatery was really tasty and compared to some airlines a resonable price . Overall a good friendly airline. by the way i reccomend to bring electronics onboard to keep kids amused as there isnt much in the way of entertainment.

I have flown about 20 times with Thompsons and previously Air 2000 which became part of Thompsons Airways. I cannot speak highly enough of this airline. I find their B757-200's comfortable and ideal for the routes I travel. They onboard catering now has to be paid for but is good value and of excellent quality. When the tour company I had used for many years with changed its' Glasgow-Verona flights to another airline I voted with my feet and change to Thompson Lakes.

they have no idea about customer service. so called executive customer service operatives just respond with a selection of standard paragraphs no matter how many times you ask them to read and understand the problem the dreamliner premium economy service is put forward as comparable to Virgin-- absolutely not Just take one look at the cabin crew and you have the answer---presentation --attitude ´-- professionlism I suppose like everything in life you get what you pay for after two horrendous dreamliner experiences-- ever again -- you have been warned

My flights were TOM12/London Gatwick-Samana/17 Oct 2013 and TOM13/Samana-London Gatwick/24 Oct 2013. It was my first time flying with Thomson but it's First Choice air plane which was old but nothing wrong with air con, toilet or in-flight entertainment stuff. Both flights were delayed 1-2 hours. In-flight meals to Samana were fine but no hot meal on return flight. Captain said cabin crews from London Gatwick didn't check that catering department didn't load any meal for return flight. We all had to sit on the air plane over an hour after boarding at Samana Airport because they were making bacon sandwiches for us. It tasted terrible. I couldn't eat it and it was the only food I was served for 8 hour flight! They served drinks few times. Captain and cabin crews were polite and friendly on both fights. I won't fly long haul flight with Thomson again but probably consider short flight in EU.

year 2017- 2018 (all messages): This is not the Thomson Airways carrier site here, but the discussions forum here. There is no flight information /e-ticket number / reservation on this air carrier. No one can reply without the correct and full data on the reservation or on the flight/destination. Such comments are not fair. In order to get the correct reply, kindly attach the reservation / booking number and produce fllight number / airports. Requests on refund must produce full name, reservation / eticket and email address in attachment. The reply can be given within 2-5 days by free staff. At the time he nor any crew member mention air controller in France being on strike, the reason he gave to the passengers on board the aircraft was as followers. 1. That the flight had be cleared by Doncaster Airport Control to be open until we landed as it would have be only half an hour late. 2. That the aircraft controller at the Tenerife Sur Airport said that she had not confirmation of that fact. The pilot told us that your company and Doncaster Airport Control was in contact with Air Traffic Controller to resolve that manner so we would be on our way. 3. About twenty-five minute later he came back in and told us that the plan had change because of the confuse between you company and that of Tenerife Sur Airport Control that Doncaster Airport that decided to close the airport. 4. He also stated that your company and Tenerife Sur Airport Control had come to agreement with East Midland Airport for this plane to land there. That all passenger would be bus to Doncaster. There was not a lot we could do many of the passenger was not happy with this. 5. Later again you Pilot came back into the cabin and told us them because your company wanted this plane to be in the right place the next day that again the plan had changed and that we were all going to Manchester Airport and bus from there to Doncaster. 6. He also told us all because of this situation that we would be entitled to compensation as the fault lay with you as you did let Tenerife Sur Airport Controller know what was agreed between your Company and Doncaster Airport. 7. If there had of know we would have be able to take of at the allotted time and would have arrived back about half an hour late. I find it very strange that l cannot talk to anyone in your department about this matter. Also as a loyal customer of Thomson l found the treatment of your team upsetting. I will wait until Wednesday 26th April for a replied for you or someone in your company. That l will be getting in touch with The Civil Aviation Authority.
