Today I post an overview of the flight from the Australian Melbourne to the Malaysian Kuala Lumpur.

The ticket itself was bought as a single transplant. In Singapore, a very short transfer and change of side was supposed.
SCOOT, from Melbourne to Singapore flight TR-19, schedule at 12.45, arrival at Singapore at 18.40, 7 hours 55 minutes, declared aircraft-Boeing-787-900, 9V-OJH. But I decided to complicate my flight for a number of reasons, the main of which is the flight of a new airline for me on the site from Kual Lumpur, according to reviews - with an extremely high level of service, which I hardly managed to get and buy tickets. For the sake of this, I even had to sacrifice one day in Melbourne and fly out of Australia a day earlier. Now there was a search for a decision on the flight Melbourne - Kuala Lumpur with a rigid binding in time. Other reasons why he preferred a complex route was, firstly, it is not confidence in the service of Chinese airlines (there was experience), and secondly, flights from/in Africa/Russia (in my case, Nairobi/Moscow) to Australia to combine with intermediate relaxation and a full sleep somewhere in the middle of the path. I use all the possible and known sources for me - from the official airline website, ending with Russian and foreign aggregators. So, this ticket was cheaper in its cost (even cheaper than on the airline’s website) from the Russian aggregator, where he was purchased. The price is ridiculous for such a distance, even taking into account the fact that the airline performing a flight is a low -cost airline. The ticket cost 15172 rubles - the exact amount in rubles is known because I bought it on a Russian bank card.
But since the 10-hour flight was supposed without food, additional services were already purchased on the official website of the airline. The day before departure on it, along with registration on a flight, I bought dopes - meals and chose places. The choice of a place on the first segment was approached not only from the point of view of interest (by the window) but also from the practical side - taking into account a short transplant and a possible delay in the flight, I chose a place as close to the exit as possible - at the 15th row. And this was the only possible option at the window in the front of the cabin. In the second segment, I would not buy a place, but there was no such opportunity - if you buy a place for a single ticket, you have to buy on both segments or not to buy at all. On the second shoulder I chose a 27th row, also on the right. Of the proposed nutrition, more than half was with a pectogram of pepper, which meant a spicy dish. Of the remaining options, I chose "Potato-Kurine Puree soup"-so I translated this name. In addition to places and food, it was also possible to buy luggage, a set for sleeping and the opportunity to first go for landing. But I didn’t need this good for nothing:

The price of the acquired options was shown in Australian dollars (probably my location was determined by IP) and amounted to 21 AUDs for power, 18 for the place on the first segment and 8 for the place on the second segment. For all, along with the card, 32.6 US $, i.e. About 2950 rubles were added to the ticket value (at the rate at the time of purchase):

There is no point in talking about well -known facts, for example that Melbourne is the second city of Australia, etc. I’ll tell you about my emotions that have formed a characteristic of this place. Firstly, it is a city for young people - party, modern, with a lot of opportunities for chil, self -development, rest and work. Young people go to Melbourne not only from other parts of the country, but also from all over the world. From the positive and positive - the city is relatively beautiful, CBD Melbourne is roofing in the good sense of the word. By nutrition - you can find the kitchen of any countries of the world (although for example, I have not seen Russian or Ukrainian) - even such as Nepal or Yemen. Public transport is very developed, an unusually gust is a tram network, which is also free within CBD. From the negative - the city is dirty. And I'm not talking about the fact that here's a direct pigsty, of course, there is no such thing in Australia. But Melbourne is definitely dirtier than other Australian cities in which I saw almost perfect purity. The second point is more than anywhere in Australia by homeless and crazy. But the cookies turned out to be the highest class, tasted like a crunchy chocolate. The package swore that made of completely natural ingredients. Of course, this was not worth the declared price, even taking into account onboard power. Well, do not starve for 8 hours:

But this is still a continent that the plane crossed from the southeast to the north-west, and this is a very decent straight line. By the way, I noticed one detail. Despite the fact that we still continued to fly over Australia, but more than half of the way flew. And it pleased. Since, it seems, we were catching the time lost with the departure of the departure.
finally appeared the coast where the continent ended. It expected that it would be a less even coastline, but everything turned out to be much more complicated and interesting. Below there was an irregular -shaped lagoon, the size of about 20x20 km, in the northern part of which a pair of islands was visible. The largest of them has the name of the island of St. Andrew, and of course it is not inhabited. Like the entire territory for many hundreds of kilometers around. From the lagoon with a sharp beam, like stalactitis, deep into the continent crashes a duct, stretching for tens of kilometers into the National Park, Prince Regent:


To feel how remote the place was over which our plane now flew, literally a couple of facts and one photo. This area is considered the most remote from civilization by the coastal area on the continent. From here to the nearest settlement, called Mitchell Plapo, about 130 km. The settlement has its own airfield, not even an airfield, but a soil strip. I found on the Internet what the halls and departure of this airport look like - this is how information signs broadcast about this:

If you pay attention to the last photo, you can see that along with a fragile coastline that prevails, there are also strips of beaches with white-yellowed sand. But it is hardly possible to get there. Not because it is technically difficult to condensed (it is quite realistic on a helicopter), but because it is most likely prohibited in order to preserve the wild untouched nature of the continent.
