Turkish Airlines: Istanbul to Adana

I fly a lot, and now I've finally decided to write my first review. Apologies in advance for the quality of the photos, they were made with a cell phone, and thanks for reading!

I decided to write about my recent trip with Turkish Airlines inside Turkey: Istanbul-Adana TK2462, departing at 2:05 PM (7/12/2012)
The plane was an A-320.

The plane was named after the Turkish city of Muş.

Departure was delayed by 15 minutes. Boarding was at Gate 409.

We were taken to our plane by one of the famous COBUS shuttles, which are used by all the major airports in the world.

Here we are approaching the A-320.

The business class seats were the same as the economy class ones, except that the seats in the middle of the row in business class could be converted into a coffee table.

I was assigned seat 27D. The upholstery in economy class was leather.

Accessories like a pillow and blanket were available on demand.

The headrest could be adjusted with this button:

Controls for the entertainment system were built into the armrests.

Takeoff and ascent were very quick. About 20 minutes into the flight, meals were served.

Quality of service and food was great (there was tea, coffee, water, juice, eggplant salad, a chicken sandwich, and chocolate mousse).

After the light lunch I decided to flip through the flight magazine. It was inside a plastic folder featuring the airline's logo. It looked fresh and clean, and was pleasant to the touch, unlike what you can usually expect on Russian airlines.

Screens, which were located on the ceiling over every 4th row, showed flight information.

The bathrooms, though a little worn, were very clean.

The plane was about 90% full. The flight attendants were friendly and cheerful.

Although the plane has been in service for 7 years, it looked practically new.

The trip took a total of 1 hour 20 minutes. We began our descent over the mountains by Adana. Descent and landing were both smooth.

Ramps were rolled up to both the front and rear of the plane, as it was scheduled to leave only 40 minutes later. The A-320 was quickly prepared for its return flight to Istanbul.

And so, 1 hour 20 minutes later, I'm in Adana's small local airport.

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to read my review.

Good luck to all flying Turkey's national airline, Turkish Airlines, a member of the Star Alliance.

P.S. For this economy-class flight, I got 432 miles added to my Miles&Smiles rewards card.
