Land in Iceland and waiting for connecting flight to Dublin. Board shows no gate announced as yet. Next thing I see is ‘gate closed’ and C27 announced as gate simultaneously. Run to find anybody in Wow livery-nada! Go to service information desk and staff indicate the end of the counter where Wow would be-no one there. According to one staffer, they all left because there was no activity. Yeah, tell that to the customers frantically trying to contact people they will miss in Dublin, who don’t have the keys:instructions to the property we are renting in Tenerife. Customer service is a total fail.

In my view, a disgrace of an airline. We booked flights from Pittsburgh to Edinburgh through Keflavik, then received an email saying the Keflavik-Edinburgh legs had been cancelled and we could apply for a refund for just that part of the booking. So we did and booked EasyJet flights for that part of the trip. Lo and behold, WOW went and cancelled the entire booking from/to Pittsburgh and refunded the full amount. This left us out of pocket to the tune of some GBP286.00 for the EasyJet tickets. A letter to WOW in late November 2018 is still unanswered. FAA should investigate this shambles of an outfit. I had to give a 1 star rating as it is not possible to submit a review without it and there is no 0 star option.

i would do everything possible never to take this airline. The cheap flight is the classic bait and switch. The upcharges for seats and luggage are much higher than industry standard. The in flight service is deplorable, they charge you for water! They are notoriously bad at losing luggage recently lost three pieces of my luggage. They continue to lie to me about the status of the luggage. Just awful.

Both flights were on time from the somewhat inconvenient Stansted. Aircraft were spotless and seats had superb legroom, and were very comfortable, a world away from the likes of Ryanair and EasyJet. Cabin crew spoke English well and were very friendly. Service was great, cabin crew gave out blankets on flight out, and drinks and snacks were relatively inexpensive. Check in very slow at Stansted and Keflavik. No entertainment onboard for the three hour flight apart from a tremendous airline magazine. Airline is vibrant and young, adding some comedy to the safety briefing and headrests. A great experience, would definitely fly again for the OK price, much cheaper than Icelandair.

I booked return flights from Stanstead to Iceland with Wow air. One month later, they decided to change from Stanstead to Gatwick. Now i have had to cancel as i am unable to fly from Gatwick, i have had to cancel airport car-parking too, what a load of hassle. Not a very good first experience - i am a regular traveller and have never had my airline change my airport like this. Will not use wow air again. But i did get a full refund though.
