Hi, It's very poor & not responsible company. More than 4 months we have no any compensation for lost bag with private articles.
The Claim Form was filled & sent but VA is paid nothing & is fully ignored of international rules for lost baggage.
Attention for everybody !!! Do not fly by Virgin Airline because VA has no any responsible for our customers.
The aircraft was bad cleaned & was very worn, also
I can not say enough about the superb service I received from Virgin Australia on my recent trip to and from Australia to the US. On the return trip, my flight was late arriving at LAX, in turn I missed my connecting flight to Melbourne. The airline staff at the gate made several phone calls to additional flights leaving within the following hour to see if they had seats available. In the end I was added to a flight to Sydney, then coordinated it on the spot with my connecting flight to Launceston.
Upon arriving in Sydney, and due to the missed flight, my luggage did not arrive. The VA staff that met our flight (VA2 on 31 July) was outstanding. There were 3 of us whose luggage had not arrived. I sadly did not catch her name, but the staff member, while assisting an elderly couple with a wheel chair and their luggage get to their correct gate, she took us to the Aerocare office to put in the claims for our luggage. As each of us finished she took us, individually, to our gates, or to the shuttle for our next flights ensuring we made the connections on time.
I was given a reference number and was told to call the next day after 8am for an update. At 7:45am my phone rang, it was Virgin Australia letting me know my luggage had arrived in Launceston and would be delivered that afternoon, they wanted to verify my address.
I believe they went above and beyond the call duty and sincerely take care of their passengers.
I recently returned from Perth to Melbourne on flight VA690, and I thought the flight was enjoyable and relaxing. I thought the airline was definitely more organised compared to my previous flight to Perth with QANTAS. The food was adequate, being a vegetarian wrap, and a Indian lamb dish. Each dish was served with caramel mousse, a bread roll and a little bottle of water. Other drinks, such as lemonade, beer, orange or apple juice and sparkling mineral water, were also served. The entertainment selection was incredible! The seat-back screen came with movies that weren't even available on the iTunes Store yet! Fun games, movies, TV shows, music radio and seat-to-seat chat were all included in the entertainment selection on the seat-back screen. For the 3 hrs I was up in the sky, I found myself never saying I was bored. This flight is just one example of the many great flights Virgin Australia send out every day!
FANTASTIC AIRLINE!!! Would not fly anyone else domestically in Australia. On time, staff friendly and helpful. Fantastic service. Fares are affordable. I would definitely recommened Virgin Australia to anyone!
Travelled with Virgin Blue after a long haul from Europe. They have a transfer office after you leave Immigration and Customs in Sydney and a painless transfer by bus (although not free ) to the Domestic Terminal. Flight to TSV left and landed on time. Crew pleasant and reasonably efficient in what they had to do. Lots of legroom with a standard economy seat. Have used them in the past and will have no problem about recommending them to anyone in the future.
