I wondered why everyone is whinging about poor service from Malaysia Airlines? Why's everyone saying that they weren't attended to or no one answered their calls when they need assistance? We had our flight delayed for 11 hours from London to Kuala Lumpur a month ago, however the crews were very good to everyone waiting and we were given all free hotel room at Heathrow ( we flew with Economy Class), besides we were given paperwork and explained on how to claim for compensation from Malaysia Airlines. We followed the instructions on the paperwork and email them all documents, and we were attended to within 24 hours. And we received our compensation (almost 50% of our air fares) within 2 weeks. When we rang the call center in Australia , yes we were put on hold for couple of minutes, but there's always someone to attend to us. Unlike other airlines such as Qantas, we've been putting on hold for more than one hour and yet no one attended to us. So we're VERY HAPPY with Malaysia Airlines, and definitely is one of the best in the world!!

I wouldn't recommend Malaysia Airlines to an enemy!!! They booked my brother on a connecting flight that he had no possibility to meet (it was earlier than his flight landed). I have written to them about 5 times to lodge a complaint, I have spoken to them, and had absolutely no response at all. Unbelievable lack of customer service. I would never use them again.

I travelled with Malaysian Airlines together with 3 other adults and 3 young children. It was the worse flying experience I have ever suffered. The flight was cancelled days before departure but we were not advised! When we arrived at the airport (Sydney) we were required to wait some 7 hours for an alternative Malaysian Airlines flight. When we arrived at Kuala Lumpur we discovered that we had missed our connection (another Malaysian Airlines flight). We were then required to queue for several hours at a Malaysian Airlines 'service desk' to get overnight accommodation. We were then required to queue for a further hour to board a coach to take us to a hotel. The next day when we returned to KLIA to board the next flight we found we had been allocated seats scattered around the plane such that the three children (aged 3, 6 and 8 years old) were all sitting away from their parents! Does this sound unbelievable? Sadly it gets worse! I complained to Malaysian Airlines and I received an automated response stating that I would get a response. That further response never arrived so I chased them up and again got no response Ц other than the automated response! I then sent them a final request and guess what Ц other than the automated response I received silence. This has to be the height of disrespect and total disregard for customer service!!

After 30 years of flying MAS I'm very disappointed. After I bought my ticket direct flight KL Amsterdam and return in Nov. they announced in January that I now have a stop over in Heathrow. I asked for a refund by email. But never had an answer. I tried to contact them. But NO WAY !! All offices closed. No tel. contact possible. Is this a way to treat your longtime customers??

Never ever flying Malaysia airlines the most unprofessional airline. My stuff got stolen from the check in bag I tried sending complain mail to their Head office main reservations but no response. I am right now standing in Malaysia airline sales office in Manila to speak with the manager but manager doesn't want to face me instead asking his stuff to tell me to complain to station manager. I was requestinh the stuff that I want to speak with manager but he never bothered to came out I lost my cool and I raised my voice instead of customer friendly all the frontline went inside and were giggling as if I am mad

ALL I CAN SAY IS DO NOT FLY WITH MALAYSIA AIRLINE (MAS). THE WORST AIRLINE IN THE WORLD. Six phone calls and still the matter still outstanding. There is no system, it is obvious that this airline company is going to shut down soon. No customer services at all, staff are so stupid that you will have to repeat and repeat again and again. The CEO from Ireland also an idiot. I guess an idiot rejected from Ireland, came over to Malaysia and * his way up to become a CEO for Malaysia Airlines. If he is so good, why not stay abroad? Only the rejects will come over to foreign countries to * * . My travel advice to all Europeans, DO NOT FLY WITH MALAYSIA AIRLINE (MAS)

The worst airline you can imagine. Six times business class and six times problems with their seats. Air stewardess said to me, the maintenance people were informed but still the same problems. ANY MAINTENANCE ON THIS AIRLINE??? When you fly with MAS. they will not upd ate your points many many months after if you are lucky. When you phoned up, they cut your line off constantly. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE GROUND STAFF YOU CAN IMAGINE. IQ of those staff were so low that you need to explain and explain and explain, again and again. No wonder they hire the new CEO, he's also a piece of *** rejected from abroad and got a job with malaysian airlines. Wrote to the new CEO P. Bellew, he replied "Hi, Sorry I am on vacation in an isolated part of Indonesia with no access to email. I will try and get back to you after the 30th October. Sama sama. Peter Bellew" Judge for yourself, what kind of *** *** will se t his automated email like this. An Irish CEO who work for a Malaysia company and don't really know the Malaysian word Sama Sama??? Malaysia Airline must be shortsighted to hire this complete *** from abroad. DO NOT FLY THIS AIRLINE!!!
