TAM Linhas Aereas is the major air carrier of the South America and the Brazil's largest airline. It’s the Star Alliance member. Route network of TAM covers virtually all areas in Brazil.
It appeared to be the only Brazil air carrier available for on-line tickets booking. The thing is that in order to make any on-line purchase in Brazil it’s necessary to enter CPF (it’s a kind of our Tax Identification Number). So, having no CPF it’s impossible to make purchase. The only thing left is to buy tickets after arrival to Brazil. But in this case there’s a real threat of overstated prices and lack of tickets in high season.

If you book or ask a seat on the left side of the cabin (A-B-C seats) you’ll see the main places of interest: the Iguazu waterfalls and the Itaipu hydrostation. But, they say, the airport may receive the planes from both sides of the runway, so, there’s a chance to see nothing.

In spite of the weather forecast with rains and lightning for the whole week (we were ready for such a foul), the weather was fine, without any cloud in the sky. Because of this forecast I decided to spend one more day in Foz do Iguacu, but it was not necessary.
