Welcome to my review page!

Three days of vacation in the north have flown by.



On the evening of the third day we arrive at the airport. We disembark at gate 2.



I look around the terminal.





The airport is small, it is a two-story building.



As at other airports, smoking is not allowed near the terminal, only in the boxes located at the ends.



We enter the terminal. Everything is simple.

Behind the doors is the baggage claim area.



There are many cafes and shops with northern products in the terminal.




In the center of the hall there is a passage to the clean area.

We go to the check-in counters, which are located along the end wall of the terminal.

Checked in for the flight. They asked for a seat in the front row. It was not possible to get the service for free; the cost of two places is 500 baht (1380 rubles), which is very cheap by Russian standards. On a flight of similar duration Irkutsk - Chita, Iraero, forgive 1650 rubles per seat.
We receive a boarding pass, with a note about the need to pay. To enter the clean area, a biometric boarding pass is issued - the face is scanned and escorted to the company office for payment.




It became known that the flight was delayed by approximately an hour. We decided to have a snack in one of the cafes.
This dinner cost 300 baht (820 rubles), our airports would have such prices.





After having a snack we go to the clean area. We go through Face ID.



There are no prohibited things in the backpacks, we calmly go through the search. The inspection area is separated from the hall by regular tape.



The clean area is simple, with seating, a cafe and a couple of shops. The part of the hall assigned to exits 3-5 is crowded. The NokAir flight is boarding.





I go to gates 1 and 2.

The Thai flight flew to Bangkok, after which there were a lot of empty seats in the hall.



All gates are equipped with cameras for the possibility of boarding by FaceID.




On the downside - there is not a single information board in the hall. Finally our plane has arrived. The landing began immediately. Boarding is carried out in rows, but a separate passage is provided for passengers who have paid for comfort.



After the scan, airline employees inspected hand luggage for compliance with the requirements - 7 kg + dimensions. Over the course of 3 days, our backpacks became a little swollen and heavier. But when the employee saw us, he waved his hand in the direction of the stairs, indicating our further path, and did not check our hand luggage.



We go up to the second floor.



At the entrance to the gangway, there is a small queue. Not all arriving passengers have left the board yet.



The only photo of our board. B-737-800 will take us back to the capital, tail number HS-LGO, on board for 12.5 years, joined the airline in November 2023, after working for 10 years in the parent company.



As soon as the last arriving passenger cleared the ramp, they immediately began to let us board.

There is a line when you board, but it moves quickly.

It’s a bit dirty, apparently they haven’t done a thorough cleaning for a long time.



On board, our first row, on the starboard side the numbering starts from 2.



I take my place at porthole.



Lots of legroom.



A pocket with magazines is attached to the partition.



The platform is empty.



The top panel is clean, everything works.



Inscriptions in English and Thai.



Planning has ended. The crew closed the luggage racks. Interestingly, the numbering is knocked down along the entire length of the side or is aligned somewhere.



The flight attendant closes the door.



And we begin taxiing.



We roll out onto Runway.



Acceleration and burst into the night sky. The lights of the city are floating below.



While the flight is gaining altitude, the flight attendants are working with papers.



The area is densely populated, the lights of cities and roads are always visible below. The city of Chiang Mai, where we arrived 3 days earlier, glows in the distance.



The flight is calm and fast. The lights were not turned on, only blue illumination.



Soon the lights of small towns and highways merged into a continuous field of lights stretching beyond the horizon.




The approach was difficult, with many turns. Which made it possible to enjoy the beauty of Bangkok at night.





The lights appeared airport.



And now we land.



We taxi to the terminal, dock at gallery 4, where we took off from, the last gate.




Our flight is over, according to F24 it went like this.

Departure plan/actual: 20-30/21-50
Arrival plan/actual: 21-50/23-03
Travel time plan/actual: 1-20/1-13



We are waiting for the ramp to be docked.



We go out onto the ramp.



And we go to the exit.




Signs show the way.



The corridor is empty, only a cleaning robot came across the road.




There are toilets and free drinking water.




Fork. To the left is transit, to the right is the exit to the city through the baggage claim hall.

We've arrived.



We go to the escalator, welcome sign.

In the common area there is a standard set - SIM cards, car rental, information. There are not many people, probably because it is already late and judging by the board there will be no flights at night.

We go out into the street, it is still crowded and there are a lot of cars. We are waiting for our transfer and returning to Pattaya.
