Mumbai - Singapore with Indigo

Greetings on this resource!
This review is dedicated to the flight from Indian Mumbai to Singapore.

INDIGO. Flight 6e-1011, departure at 9.00, arrival at 17.20. The time is 5 hours 50 minutes (the time difference between Mumbai and Singapore is 2.5 hours). The plane is A320.

I ask for an excuse for the abundance of introductory words in advance. Someone may seem unnecessary as part of an aviation topic of review. But without them, all the shades of my emotions during this unforgettable journey are not felt. For those readers who are important to view pictures and the technical side of the issue, you can skip the text, and start familiarization with the review from the moment I find myself at Mumbai Airport. But at the end of the review there will be references to the events that took place at the beginning, so I recommend at least to run through the story from which my journey began. And it began in Kenya. [Br]
The problem airport named after Joma Kenyatt, Nairobi

A plane ticket was bought from Kenya to Singapore with a long transplant in India and conducting some time in Mumbai itself. Before the flight, the indigo airline was completely unfamiliar to me. In 2021, I saw the planes of this brand live at Male Airport. Since then, I have not seen or remembered. I was sure that I would use the services of Ethiopian on this route, since I had already flyed in this direction (Nairobi - Singapore through Addis Abubu). But when looking for a ticket, I came across Indigo. The price of transportation (2 times cheaper than that of Ethiopian) and the opportunity to visit India and get acquainted with Mumbai for a long transfer made my choice.
Initially, two reviews were planned: Nairobi - Mumbai and Mumbai - Singapore. But before departure from Nairobi, I specifically patted the nerves of the airport’s nerves (it was partly to blame for this), and this almost cost me a admission for a flight. At that moment, I was not up to fixing the facts or photographs of the airport. In order not to retreat from chronology, I’ll tell you what happened, diluting the text literally in two or three photos.
to fly to Kenya is much easier (although it is not without nuances) than to fly out of it if your endpoint is not Russia. Kenya is happy to let in a white man, but to release ... She will try to squeeze everything from him to the last. Nairobi Airport (when departing by international flights) is always a challenge and a game of one gate against me. This is an aviation curse. This is a test of nerves. This is an evil mysticism.

The departure from Nairobi was early (flight 6e-1854 flew out at 06:40), so we arrived at the airport at about three in the morning:
said to be enthusiastically and entered the terminal (only under the terminal ( The presence of a ticket that escorts is not allowed). The peculiarity of this airport lies in the fact that before admission to register the departure by an international flight, a thorough verification of the documents required to enter the country of departure is carried out. Therefore, prepared very carefully. At least he believed that carefully. I printed:
- a visa to India (although it is not a fact that it is needed, since the time of arrival and departure in Mumbai is the same);
- the information that Russian citizens do not need a visa to Singapore with an air ticket to a third country within 96 hours and armor at the hotel; In addition to the printout, I prepared a link to the Singapore immigration site with information about this;
- a copy of the hotel armor in Singapore from Booking.com;
- a ticket to the third country.
The queue for verification of documents was moved slowly. Here it is, this line: [Br]

He returned to the terminal, and glory to the gods, there was still a line for verification, but not so big. Without a queue, he showed the same employee a certificate and she missed me for registration. He registered, handed over luggage (despite the stress experienced, he did not forget to ask for a place at the window), inspection, ended up in a clean zone. On landing again, checking the documents and again clung to me - they began to demand a visa to Singapore. Again, I began to prove that I did not need it, but I had the Aunt that was sitting on verification of documents here, and told Suakhili to the new inspector that I was already checked from head to toe, miss it.
In general, ordeals were only over with my entrance to the plane.
Statistics of the NBO - BOM flight, flight, flight, flight. 6e1854, board A320, VT-IIW, schedule at 6:40, actual at 07:13, a schedule arrived at 15:35, actual at 15:39. Travel time was 5 hours 56 minutes. The flight was long, tedious, 100%occupancy. The only thing that was of interest was a flight near Mount Kenya immediately after a set of heights. Below the screen with the video:

This is such a preface. Now I move to the review of the Mumbai flight - Singapore.

Transfer airport - Mumbai Airport.

Mumbai Airport has 2 terminal airport. Terminal 1 - for local airlines, terminal 2 - for international flights. The story will go about him. He flew from Nairobi to terminal and flew from him to Singapore.
In Mumbai, another incident was waiting for me.
Before that, I have never been in this city, and to see it, specially made an Indian visa. The transplant time - 17 and a half hours - allowed to do this slowly. In advance, he booked a hotel next to the airport in a bug of the airport, in Nairobi he changed a certain number of Indian rupees with small bills by taxi. After leaving the aircraft in the terminal, they met employees of the airport, who divided the flow of those who arrived at those who have transit and those whose Mumbai is the final point. Turning to them, explained that despite the fact that I have transit, I would like to go to the city, that a visa allows me. They understood me and still directed me to the transit zone, saying that you can also come out there. And it was a mistake on my part and the lack of competence with them. It was just that it was silent to go out on the exit and not to start clarifying conversations with them. An inspection passed and ended up in a transit zone. Once in the transit zone, he could see the border cabins only from their backs. Turning to the next employee I was sent to some office where they studied the visa and only nodded my head and issued a verdict - hence there is no way to go to the city. I went back to the inspection before going to the transit zone, asked me to release me "out" and also received a refusal. And then I realized that I would have a long time to study Mumbai International Airport.
The first thing I did was canceled the Bucking Bucking at the hotel in Mumbai, explained to them the reason for the cancellation and went to meet me without taking a fine. Then it was decided to look around at the airport and find the overnight stay on the spot.
But at first I decided to sit for 15 minutes, bought tea and devastated the glass overnight, as the runaway initiated thirst:

Outside the window on the horizon, Mumbai skyscrapers were visible - the cities, on the lands of which I did not cope leg:

After tea, he turned to one of the lounge:

But alas, there they offered a vacation for only three hours. They sent to the hotel, here in the transit zone, but there all the places were occupied.
Then I saw something like a capsule hotel:

The prices were indicated in three hours and the price for this period seemed completely unreasonable - about 3 thousand were translated into rubles. But the girl in the lobby said that they now have an action, and for this price they offer 10 hours of rest, including dinner and breakfast. In, this is another matter, then I take it! It was about 6 o’clock in the evening, so I said that I would return to 20 and reserve a capsule until 6 a.m.
in the remaining two hours I decided to wander around the terminal and see what Mumbai’s international airport, which positions itself as the best airport of India.
when I flew to Mumbai, went through the search, after which I was sent above, to the transit, from which there was no “opposite. ticket ". You get into the transit zone rising on the escalator, and various installations on the local theme are immediately thrown to the eye. It was as if it were not at the airport, but in the museum:

[IMG] [IMG=251220]

The airport has its own, which is difficult to, as it is, is the name. Can you read in one sitting? I could not: [Br] [IMG]
[Br] wherever possible, the spaces pleasantly revived vegetation, harmoniously planted in various places: [Br] [IMG ID=2512222]
[BRG]
View from the upper level to the lower, where geates were located on both sides of the long corridor:

Planting outputs were also played with green colors of vegetation: [Br]

Note that the waiting rooms are also drowned in vegetation. Of course, this would not be drowned loudly, but they are pleasantly diluting the interior along with original chandeliers:

At the upper level - shops, food curtains:

[Br] The interior of the MacDonald's looked like a luxury restaurant:

[Br]

ID=251233]

About Wi-Fay at the airport. There is no way to connect in the phone settings directly. But in the terminal in several places, kiosks are installed, where a check with a password was issued in exchange for scanning the landing coupon. When entering a password, a completely good Internet speed for three hours appeared:

Now let's see what is on the flight field. It was striking that the planes in the parking lots were parking without any order - as if the pilots decided to stop where they wanted:

There was also no dominant superiority of one airline, as it happens in some in some Large hubs (for example, at the Airport of a more). Akasa Air, Air India, Indigo: [Br]

On the other side the picture was similar: [Br] [IMG]

Another pervor technique, imitating planes, was also left in a random order:

Of course, the technique was not abandoned, but its location on the field hinted at the reverse. [Br]
also drew attention to the fact that the flagship carrier of the India, the flagship carrier of the India, Air India, rebranding its livery. Here is the side with the old livery:

But with the new:

During the examination of the flight field, the weather has changed dramatically, literally in minutes. Strong but short -term rain, which also ended sharply and ended:

Mumbai is a city of contrasts. In the picture above the flight field, quite modern buildings are visible. But if you throw your gaze through the window from the end of the terminal, turning the lens by 90 degrees, then the rear background will fill the real slums:

Having walked around the terminal, he made himself hunger. And although I was promised to feed me with dinner at the capsule hotel, I decided to have a bite. Moreover, the Indian rupees had to be spent on something. [Br]

Knowing that Indian cuisine is fraught with taste surprises, I wanted to choose a proven McDonald's, but then I decided that I was in India, I need to try the appropriate taste. He stopped his choice at this point:

ordered a kind of twist in the form of either an omelet, or fried eggs with chopped vegetables and meat:

God you added there .. Of course, Masala. I then asked the seller. They have a salt there for us. Well, the taste, although specific, but quite edible. [Br]
Having finished his specific dinner, went to the capsule hotel.
inside it was several zones - a lobby, eating, rest, a place where there were 5 capsules in a row. There was its own point of Wi-Fay, to which it was connected for the entire period of stay, since temporary, three-hour access of the Internet from the terminal has already ended. And, most importantly, the soul, the need for which has already been brewing. [Br]

The recreation areas were individually fenced out for each traveler: [Br]
[Br]
[IMG] [IMG] ID=251466]

Before visiting it, the girl at the reception gave a menu to order dinner herself. But the menu did not help - the names of dishes written in English did not clarify the situation, so I had to poke at random and hope that I would not stumble upon local specifics. After the shower, a tray with the following contents awaited me:

In appearance - I had no idea what it was. When I began to taste, understanding did not increase. The fact that on the left is a sweet and milk product remotely resembling cottage cheese. On the right is crispy bread, but flavored so rich that it was more like a potato chips. "Cottage cheese" and chips ate. Below - something so sharp that it was impossible to eat. Above in a small plate is a completely incomprehensible substance, which also did not consume. [Br] after dinner, it climbed into the capsule, the view from the inside: [Br]

After a long, saturated day and previous sleepless night, the capsule space seemed infinitely comfortable, which entered into a matter of minutes. Sleep. [Br]
By 6 am the next day, they brought me a cup of strong coffee, which was the promised breakfast, having bought a capsule hotel left. First of all, I approached the scoreboard - how is my flight - will it be delayed? [Br]

Everything is fine so far. In the ticket, the departure time was 9.00, on the scoreboard - 8.50. The gate number was already known - 68v.
on the street at that time almost dawned:

There were no souls in the capsule hotel, but there was no toilet. If there is a need for it, you need to go to the terminal.

The toilet, surprisingly, turned out to be clean. In the male half, there was even a place for the swaddling of the child:

There was a small element of humor: in the middle of the pussuar, the fly was engraved - an unequivocal goal for the stream during the custle of low need:
[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] ID=251477]

Work and very powerful dyson:

In the Food Cort zone at that time, more than half of the cafe did not work. It was necessary to find something and have breakfast, having spent the remaining Rupia. I found, took the menu-it is more or less clear in it:

ordered, warning that only without a Masala, which I had already grabbed on the previous day!
I look at the window at the passing A-330 of some Chinese airline:

brought a modest breakfast:

Breakfast, watched the flight field - mainly Livores of Indian airlines. But there were also "visitors" guests. Here, for example, is a couple of livery that can be found at Moscow airports: towing, running A-321 Gulf Air and steering of the detained A-320 Iraqi Airways in Iraqi Annadzhan: [Br]

[BRG] [BRG] [Br] [BR ID=251484]
Richety Iraqi Airways: [Br]
[Br] Evil, headed through empty corridors to his gate: [Br] [Br] [Br] [Br] [Br] [Br] [Br] Removed, possibly even exclusively in local latitudes, A-330 Uganda Airlines, preparing to fly out in Entebbe: [Br] [IMG]

The Gate of Landing is already the line of landing: [Br]

I will approach Control, presenting the landing:

How differently arranges the procedure for checking baggage and hand luggage at different airports. Now, in Mumbai, after my landing was scanned, I thought that I would go on a TV set directly on the plane, but it wasn’t there. For the first time, I was faced with the fact that after scanning the boarding coupon, a hand luggage test occurs. Here it would seem, I go to the TV set:

but I find myself in the area with scanners through which they pass everything that you carry with you to the airplane’s interior: [Br] [IMG]

[Br] after the inspection, the crust of the passport receives the next Stick:

Well, now will he let Mumbai let go, which at first did not want to let me in? According to the escalator, to the TV set:

Having descended, he was in a small space with an open, shabby door, behind which was a television. And here again there is some kind of hitch:

I go into the TV setup and see the cause of the hitch - and here is a check! Checked the landing and passport with the sticker:

While standing in line, he saw another livery, which was once a frequent guest in Moscow. In 2017, he flew to this airline at Domodedovo, Boeing 787 British Airways:

[Br] [Br] on board, flight.
[Br] I go to the airplane:

The door to the cockpit was open, and wow! The commander in this flight is a woman:

Stewardess, seeing that I was photographing, hissed at me, expressing a ban on the shooting of the airplane control, but it was too late, the matter was done. She did not ask to delete the photo, but to prevent such excesses, she closed the door to the cockpit.
I make my way to my seat - there is no business class, a continuous economy. Too many hand luggage, for which they looked for a place in crowded luggage shelves, delayed advancement at the end of the cabin: [Br]

My row is still empty:
Anti -Macassars there is nowhere easier:
[IMG] [Br]
Starting in his place, appreciated the freedom of space for the legs - not a bit of delight. The knees rested on the frame in front of the seated chair: [Br]

The view from the window also pumped up: From the 16th row, the gaze rests directly on the wing area: [Br]
Simple panel above the head, scratched buckle. belt:

Pocket in the back of the seat burst from the contents. Firstly, the thick magazine of the airline:

In the Airline Statistics section, Information on the destination Indigo destination. As for the direct flights of the airline itself (excluding partners), these are impressive 87 internal directions and 30 international, of which 29 to Asia (including the capitals of the former union republics of Almaty, Tbilisi, Baku, Tashkent) and 1 to Africa - just in Nairobi from which I flew. Indigo does not have its own direct flights to Europe, Australia and America:

Even in the pocket there were security instructions and a package printed in a cellophane package for receiving vomiting masses:

Planting ended. The plane cursed with passengers - loading at 100%, if not one hundred. The tractor took up his own business - Airbas is dragged from the televisionrap:

While the plane was steaming along the paths, the stewardesses performed passenger briefing: [Br]

The weather was not understood, then the rain was drunk, then the rain, then the rain, then The sun is visible. It has never been to India before, perhaps this is the norm:

The plane rode for a long time and eventually approached the borders of the airport, since there was a fence nearby, behind the slums: [Br]

The guards of the airport paced along the fence, either with weapons, or with batons in their hands. Apparently, in case, in case they are used if the inhabitants of the slum somehow overcome the fence and find themselves in the flight field. And this was easy to carry out, because the fence, although there was a sufficient height, but the slumberry residents piled the mountains of garbage of such a height in some places that it had already reached and even shimmered through the edge of the fence:
[IMG=251910]

The plane turned 90 degrees to the right, but the picture outside the window did not change the same slums. When the plane drove past them, the thought was walking in his head: the airport is the face of the city. Is it really impossible to do anything to the local authorities so as not to demolish, but at least to transfer this ugliness out of sight:

Then the airport area expanded, the slums were left behind, the hangars appeared. Next to them, two Jambo Jet Airindia stood out, most likely already becoming an era. In front of them were small jet sides, possibly private, looked like cockroaches against the background of boeing giants:

We took off towards Mumbai. He sat on the “right side”, which allowed the metropolis to survey in at the palm of his hand, but the wing did not allow the picture to be fully enjoyed:

gained height, but at the height of the wing closed almost the entire area of the area with their area or oils or oils: [Br]

After an hour of flight, they still flew over the territory of India, which were covered with heap clouds: [Br]

two hours after the start of the flight, they began to fly over Bengalsky The bay, the clouds over which there was practically no:

My tariff included baggage, but not power. Power was offered on the airline’s website for a fee. So that everything was simple and clear - the menu, price, type of food - this was not. Food was offered in combination with the choice of places, and instead of the cost in Indian rupees, an incomprehensible currency or some units that, apparently, would have been converted in rupees when buying a service, was displayed. He did not delve into the details and deal with all this. He made hamburgers from the house in Nairobi, who were enough for both segments of the flight and despite the long transfer in Mumbai and an unsightly appearance, everything was perfectly preserved and did not go bad. Therefore, he dumped in flight with what was with him.

Onboard toilet. During his visit, the plane flew into the turbulence zone. They persistently knocked on the door from the outside, so that I hurried to return to my place. The corresponding icon was lit in the toilet itself. The toilet is ordinary, not dirty, despite my visit in the middle of the flight and a horror story from the Internet about the low level of hygiene on the flights of Indian airlines:

Kohl indirectly mentioned Hindus, immediately about the national composition of the flight. On the Nairobi segment - Mumbai, judging by the appearance of the passengers - Indians and Africans - Fifty Fifi. I did not see people with a European appearance, except for myself. On the segment from Mumbai to Singapore - most Indians, Asians are 30 percent of the strength. And literally a man of four to five Europeans and Africans.
, about an hour and a half before planting, a strong shaking began-so strong that someone even vigorously bluened in the back rows. The characteristic sound of this physiological act left no doubt that it was it. Looking out the window during the shaking, I saw the ground - that means we went to the Bengal Bay and shook us over Thailand:

Then the plane flew over the west coast of the Malay Peninsula, still over Thailand. Through the gaps in the clouds, the islands and a coastline were visible. Somewhere there, below, numerous resorts and hotels slowly swam. For example, the island of Ko Yao Noi is a paradise for a beach holiday:

KO YAOI is located next to the well -known Phuket. If I sat on the other side, I would see it - the plane flew to the left of Phuket along the flight.

The plane continued to fly along the west coast of the peninsula, but already over Malaysia. Below is the city of Clang, located to the west of Kuala Lumpur:

With the beginning of a decrease, the plane again turned out to be over the ocean and when the earth was disoriented again, over which area we flew. The endless coastal lines, the islands flashed under the rapidly rinked clouds. The plane constantly changed the direction of the flight. In a series of turns, he tried to grab Singapore with his eyes, but could not make out anything:

, then increasing the flight curve on the Flytradar map, it became clear that we circled over Indonesia, and landing from Malaysia to the northern part of Singapore:
[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] ID=252138]

Singapore appeared:

The airport appeared on the outskirts of which the legless Boeing-777 Saudia flashed, apparently in a state of deep repair: [Br]
Further, the strip and run. On the run, two sides of the British (A380 and B-787) and A380 Emirates and the steering of two Boeings were flashed on the run: 747 asiana Airlines and 737 Singapore Airlines:

Because of all these circles before landing, landed 10 minutes later, although before the decline it seemed that we would arrive even earlier. During the steering, one could see many wide -body sides of various airlines. Basically, of course, Singapore Airlines: [Br]

as well as interstarminal. The line of shuttle and the automobile highway diving under the bridge along which our plane was steaming: [Br] [IMG]

We enrage to the place of parking opposite the German Queen of Heaven and stand at an angle to it: [Br] [IMG]

Landing: [Br] [Br] [Br] [Br] after flight, Cingure Airport of Changi. [Br] [Br] [Br] [Br] [Br] [Br] [Br] [Br] [Br] [Br]

[Br] [Br] [Br]
WELL The aircraft delivered me to Singapore: [Br]

and the take -off board AIRASIA: [Br]
Further on foot on foot along endless corridors: [Br]
[BRG] [IMG]

The airport is very spectacular and even a separate review will not be enough to describe all its beauties. Singapore is the final point for me, therefore, in my long walking, I focus on the sign “Arrive”: [Br] [Br] [Br] I pass by the beauty again: [Br]

and go down to the level of border procedures:

There are no border cabins, passage through automatic terminals:

, however, when scanning the Russian passport, a signal apparently triggers, as the border control employee is suitable and directs to a separate rack. Other employees are sitting there and the owner of a Russian passport (and a number of other citizenships) has to present a set of documents for admission to the country on a visa -free basis. Having called the country where he came from - Kenya, I was demanded by a certificate of vaccination against yellow fever. And then I realized that the ordeal at the beginning of the trip to the urgent receipt of the certificate was not in vain, and the airport employees in Nairobi did not find fault with me. Even having allowed me on a flight, without a certificate on the hands of Singapore, where the rules are strict and zero level of corruption, I would simply not have been released.
Singapore border officers were extremely correct and polite. Having looked through all the prints and scans from the phone gave me a green light. [Br] I go out into the baggage area: [Br]

The luggage tape of my flight No. 38, my backpack on it already expected me, and not I: [Br]
[Br] [Br] [Br] I am looking for a pointer to the zone, to understand where to go to the train:

and again a trip to endless corridors. It is no longer so screaming beautifully, but still worthy: [Br]
[Br] [Br] I reach the Changi Airport metro station [Br]
and BR] and BR] and BR] and BR] and BR] and BR] and BR] I go down to the platform:

I safely get to my hotel on the subway. [Br] [Br] P.S. I have a more detailed description of Changi Airport during departure from Singapore in future reviews. Believe me, this is a real miracle. [Br] [Br] [Br] A brief resume. [Br]
Squaminely began a trip to Nairobi, which continued with an unexpected refusal to enter the city at a transit point, in Mumbai, ended well. After all, the formal goal of the trip is to transfer the body from point A to point B was achieved. Another thing is that unpleasant and unexpected nuances that arose along the way depended on both my ignorance of the situation and the human factor.

InDigo in terms of the Service of the Hard Lawcoster: at prices, maintenance, compliance with the schedule, etc. He did not note any negative moments, just as there was no something that other airlines-louds should have learned. The only wish is if there are long -long flights, to revise the Pilot Political Policy in the direction of a clear and clear procedure, without tying it for other paid services.

In conclusion, Bonus is the trajectory of my flight from the site 24flightradar.com: ’: ID=252177] [Br]
