The flight on the route Tel Aviv - Larnaca was operated on October 23, 2025. There are currently 8 airlines flying between these two cities. Israeli El Al, Izrair, Arkia and foreign Visa Air, Blue Bird, Cyprus Airlines, Aegean Airlines, Tus Air. Air Haifa also flies from the small Haifa airport.
The ticket was bought two weeks before departure and cost 250 shekels.
I haven’t flown anywhere for a long time, another war began in June, the shelling is constant. Airlines come and go.
I decided to go to Cyprus for the weekend, the flight is not long.
El al is the national air carrier of Israel, and Sandor is their subsidiary consisting of 6 Boeing 737s.
The departure was from the third terminal, at Tel Aviv airport it is the most important. I arrived at the airport an hour and a half before departure. First I stood in a short line for an interview, and then went to the registration counters. I didn’t have any luggage, and there was no line at check-in either. Got boarding.
Passport control, security check and go to the clean area.
Duty free stores.
I bought a bottle of red dry drink and ran to board, time was running out.
The plane was at the boarding bridge, but it was already dark so I didn’t take a photo.
The layout of the cabin is solid economy class.
The load is almost full.
In the back seats - paid menu, instructions and product magazine.
With a little delay we taxied for takeoff.
Outside the window there is an Ethiopian board, B 787.
We took off 20 minutes late, the lights of Tel Aviv are below us, and then sea.
Flight time Tel Aviv - Larnaca 45 minutes. They didn’t fly high, so it didn’t hurt my ears.
Service has started, a free bottle of water and cookies.
After fifteen minutes of flight, the lights of Israel disappeared, and ten minutes later the lights of Cyprus appeared.
The landing went smoothly, there was one runway at Larnaca airport, there was no bumpiness.
The plane was placed on the jet bridge.
Well, I'm on exit.
Passport control was quick.
Ahead there was a bus to the center of Larnaca for 4 euros, and a couple of days of rest.
Soon a return flight with Tus Air.
