I flew this airline from Macau to Sydney the other day, and i have to say the experience exceeded my expectations of this airline, with around 500 AUD price, it was definitely worth it. Seats were average, and my legs could comfortably fit without too much struggle. The flight attendants were very friendly towards me and the food was excellent too.

Flew Viva Macau Sydney to Macau return. For the price paid AUD$510 return, it was worth it. As with other posts, entertainment was non-existent, you must pay for about 99% of everything. seats were standard, enough leg room for average size person. Cabin crew helpful and friendly. You get an itinerary that you print out when you book online and then at the airport counter, collect your boarding pass. unlike Jetstar there was no barcode or anything except a confirmation number so was a little worried about the validity. but was all good. On the flight back, plane was delayed about 1.5 hrs. Overall, definitely good value and a satisfactory experience (bar the flight home) so would fly them again.

Macau to Sydney on an overnight flight - the fare was a bargain at $300 AUD one way. Although the plane was showing some signs of age it was clean. Seat pitch reasonable (I'm 6' 3" and about on a par with Qantas although the seats were not as comfortable. Flight crew very friendly and attentive throughout the flight. You had to pay for everything on board but at $300 who cares. Overall I'd recommend Viva Macau to anyone looking for a well priced travel option who is travelling to either Macau, Hong Kong or Southern China. Macau is a cracker of a joint which anyone travelling to Hong Kong should visit.
