I have always had good experience with Mango airlines, just the landing and departures, if the take off is good you must expect a bit of rough landing and vice versa. But the pilots are good honestly.

I flew from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth on flight JE 628 going to PE and JE 623 back to Cape Town.

The flight to PE was fine, except for the turbulence which had to do with the weather (not Mango's fault) but coming home to Cape Town I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the aircraft. It was so dirty! My seat was broken which is not safe at all!! I sat in 8A. The bottom of my seat could slide around. Surely in an emergency that is not safe at all!?

The staff were great, but as I said the air craft was so dirty, seat broken and when we landed the whole air craft shook terribly. What worries me is that because it doesn't seem to be cleaned very often, is it maintained like it should be?? Engines etc??

I fly often, and have flown different air lines. I am not so sure I will be flying Mango again, in a hurry.

Johannesburg to Cape Town return. The flights on this low cost carrier were excellent. Both planes were full and arrived on time. The crew were efficient and offered a decent supply of refreshments at reasonable prices.
