I booked a flight from Mumbai to Hyderabad for departing from Mumbai 9.40 am on Apil 9, 2014 thinking that it was a 9.40 pm flight.I realized my mistake when I tried to check in at the airport at 8.20 pm. The Check-in lady politely pointed it out and advised me that the girl at another counter would be able to help me out with the least possible financial loss. When I went to the other counter, the lady (Steffi) said I had to pay the full fare and said the other lady was ignorant. When I insisted on talking to the Supervisor, she insisted that even he could not do anything. When I met the Supervisor, he told Steffi a way to mitigate my loss by 50%. Steffi reluctantly obeyed his instructions and allotted me and my friend in the last row, though there were vacant seats in the middle. I give the airlines a low rating for employing people like Steffi at the front desk and give a higher rating for employing people like the Supervisor and the lady at the Check in counter.

We were a family of four travelling from Delhi to Kolkatta on the 30th morning flight. My niece was travelling by indigo too and mentioned that her dad had received a message that her flight had been preponed by an hour.When we called to ask if our flight had been affected too we realised it was the same flight and we had received no intimation even though we had given our indian number. We had not expected it of Indigo-an airline we are big fans of . In the flight itself my son started feeling unwell and I was really impressed by the stewardess on duty. She asked if he had anything to eat before she could get him some crocin and brought him some crackers and then the tablet and water. She made it a point to show us the expiry date on the pack before giving it. We were really touched that both she and her colleague Simrin, kept inquiring how he was keeping.

I had booked for a seat as well lunch (prepaid) on flight 6E343 from Goa to Banglore and my seat number was 30D. The flight attendent served lunch only upto row 27 and denied serving anyone after that row stating lack of time even for those who had already paid for! I am diabetic and remaining hungry would have been too risky, how senseless!

HYD-DEL-HYD. Check-in efficient at both ends, service friendly, we got our seats together as we had reserved them. This is a pay-per service for snacks and drinks; most are reasonably priced, but the sandwiches are a bit overpriced at 125 rupees each for a non-veg. One oddity is that no hot drinks are available, even for sale. All aircraft are new A-320s, and are clean and bright inside. The seating is cramped in typical LCC fashion, but given that the flight was only 2 hours in length, it wasn't that much of an issue. HYD-DEL sector was on-time, but the DEL-HYD sector took off and landed about 15 minutes late due to the typical ATC congestion in Delhi. Overall, IndiGo is a good choice for traveling domestically within India on a budget.
