Awfull Customer Services, no Information about reason of delay in flight from Kopenhagen to Helsinki. 2 Hours delay, plus one hour waiting in plane. No water for economy class, even there were a lot of kids in board. We could here from Business class the Stewardess: Do you want more Champagne? Some more water? Economy class people didnt existe for them. Than arriving in this province town Kopenhagen at 01.00 in the morning. No Metro, no Bus, off course FINN AIR was Not able to organise ONE SINGLE BUS to the Center of Helsinki. UNBELIEVEBEL. Endless waiting for Taxi. Never again with this third world Airline
Flight was delayed, than rerouted with a layover until the next day. Not the worse part. They lost our luggage, didnt deliver it after 86 hours (had to go to pick it up to the airport). Still not the worse part! Finnair damaged our luggage and everything inside gone wasted and ruined. Then Finnair refused to compensate it and declined to take any responsibility for their misconduct. The customer service needs serious improvement and proper training.
They don't respect their passengers and treat them as if they were cattle - wordless and ready to take anything.
- You have online check-in? It doesn't matter. They put your 6-year-old child in the other end of the aircraft and explain "We have changed the plane".
- You missed your connection in HEL and it was their fault? They don't care. They send a young lady who doesn't know anything about your baggage, your hotel, your next flight and until you start shouting you never get anything you have right to (coins to call and inform you relatives on the delay, bed linen for your kid in their hotel...)
- They promised to you your baggage would be okay despite of the missed connection? Never believe. You will not even get any response to your attempts to contact them and find out how they are tracing your lost bag.
The review by Mr. Paul Finlayson of 06.07.2013 is 100% correct. Beware flying to and from Russia: Finnair doesn't have any real presence here! They only sell tickets, give no information nor assistance and call it rep-office!
And being their frequent flyer I cannot help noticing the difference in their treatment of passengers from European and "third world" countries. There are Flights and flights.
Awful. Lost my bag and found in in one day yet refused to deliver for 3 more days. Then they lost my bag on the way back. They asked for money in st. Petersburg to aid in delivery. I refused. Completely unresponsive to complaints. Desk in st p is unreachable. Avoid them or they will ruin your trip. No compensation offered.
HKG-Hel Business class return on A340. Nearly lie-flat bed which gives you comfortable and spacious flight. FA very attentive and FA to passengers ratio in J class is very high. The inflight meal is excellent with champagne, soup, salad, main dish, dessert and different choices of fruit. Sitting arrangement is good for couples. Inflight entertainment needs to be improved because the movie choices is very limited.
