To all of you lovely people who have had or are having dealings with this awful company, unworthy of any praise whatsoever. This is just to warn you that yesterday, we finally received the due compensation for our 11 hour delay on 11th August 2022.....yes that's right.....over a year ago! This whole process became a mission not to allow Albashite Airlines to get out of paying us, because that is exactly what they will try to do. Please everyone, hang in there and don't accept their lies, for they will change the goalposts every step of the way. Fortunately, two of our fellow passengers from the same flight received their money three months ago and their payment was accompanied by an email from an employee. They kindly gave us the email address and we bombarded this person over the past 6 weeks. It must have helped us, so if you'd like to take our advice and continue your complaints, it is silviadotarcadiatalbastardotes (😉) - I believe the company has its HQ in Palma de Mallorca. I believe the CEO is Michael Harrington. Good luck to you all and please please keep battling on!

Just been informed whilst queuing to drop off bags that the plane back to Edinburgh from Palma ‘hasn’t turned up’ and the next flight is in 12 hours. Facing a full day at the airport with 2 children. No additional info, bag check in queue took 90 mins to clear, very poor, never again.

Waiting almost one year for compensation. On last correspondence they said they would pay in a few weeks and that was back in April. Seems to be par of the course. They claim to be dealing with ‘unprecedented number of claims’ and were experiencing ‘cash flow’. When you read reviews here and on trip advisor and trust pilot why anyone would fly with them beggers belief and why they are not held to account by aviation authorities is beyond belief! I’m giving one star - only because they did get us home!

we grab the revie and they didn't look good. But everything was better than expected, the friendly staff, free food and drinks on board. In a word perfect

We are still waiting for flight delay compensation from July 2022 when flight was significantly delayed. Holiday booked through Tui whom changed flight to Alba after booking. Tui have stated have to claim compensation directly from Alba. Catch 22. I would not use Alba after this experience .

Still waiting for compensation claim to be paid for cancelled flight since July 2022. They ignore my emails and blocked me on Facebook for posting publicly about the delay of payment. Do not book with them!! You will not be compensated should anything go wrong

They will not refund you if you get delayed. They treat people terribly, especially disabled people that can't walk, who they tell to wear nappies if they want to go to the toilet. The crew and main operation of this company is the lowest quality airline out there.

Schlechteste Fluggesellschaft die ich je erlebt habe. Veraltete Sitze... Man hat von der Durchsage kaum was verstanden lag wohl am Mikrofon! War sehr undeutlich zu verstehen. Mein neuer Koffer kam nach dem Flug defekt wieder, keine Kulanz oder Übernahme der Kosten. Hoffe ich brauche nicht mehr damit fliegen. Kann ich auf jeden Fall nicht weiterempfehlen!

will not be using again flew on a Thompson (now tui) holiday where they became our flight 4 weeks before we flew as a result our departure time was delayed 6 hours 4 weeks before we got to the airport (lack of seats on the new carriers planes was the cause) because of this and the 1 hour delay on the day of travel at the airport we arrived in Mallorca at 10:30pm and then had to travel 2 hours to the hotel

blow is my experience with the various aspects

cabin crew: lovely and helpful only while in flight while on the ground couldn't be bothered to help

plane: old but serviceable for a short flight of up to 2 hours

staff in airport: lovely and helful but not punctual (didn't even open gate on flight back to uk till 5 minutes before check in was due to close)

punctuality: god awful 1 hour delay without explanation on way out and 3 hour delay without explanation on way home

catering: when food was actually available on the flight there was a poor selection but it was not bad quality however on our flight out there was no food available at all

overall rating 1.15/5

will actively book my own flights separately if I ever encounter Thompson changing me to them again even though it will mean paying for 2 additional flights to the destination the extra £400 will be worth it just because of how bad they were

I flew on 20th August 2017 and was pleasantly surprised as the flight was right on time both ways crew were very pleasant and we all got seats together It was an old airplane but the flight was smooth no delays and fine!

i ill not be using alba star again flight from manchester to palma 2hrs late and palma to manchester 4hrs late no explenation old and unreliable aircraft as well stay clear

Flight from Gatwick to Geneva delayed 6 hours with no explanation and very little food and drink on board. Also sat on an overheated plane on the runway for an hour before take off - again with no explanation and little apology.

Oh and the return flight was also delayed for nearly 3 hours. Don't know why - nobody told us.

Never again!
