Hello. So my two-month holiday from India to Thailand is over, it’s time to go home, although Israel is not my home, but the place where I live. Direct flights from Bangkok to Tel Aviv are operated by El Al and Arkia, but I did not want to fly with them. Firstly, they arrange a long interrogation for all passengers, secondly, the flight is long - 11 hours, due to the Arab-Israeli conflict that has lasted 70 years, Israeli airlines fly over some countries, which is why the flight is long. And the ticket price is expensive.
I bought a ticket from Uzbek Airlines on the route Bangkok-Tashkent-Tel Aviv for 1500 shekels.
This is a review of the first leg Bangkok-Tashkent.
The flight departed on 01/27/2026 at 08 am.

I arrived at Suvarnaphum airport at 12 at night, because I didn’t want to take a taxi early in the morning.
At night there are many international flights and a lot of people at the airport.
Suvarnaphum Airport is beautiful! Well, unlike Indian ones, for example.
Entry and exit are free, there are exchangers, ATMs, a cafe and a grocery store.
There are even chairs on which you can sleep.
There are cops, but they are somehow not noticeable.
Five hours passed without tension.
Check-in began at five in the morning, three hours before departure.
They gave me two boarding tickets, free luggage, but I didn’t have it it was. The passengers are Uzbeks, Russians and a few citizens of other countries.
Passport control was quick, it's automatic, they don't put a stamp.
Search is also quick, without any stress.
Clean zone.
It was getting light outside.
There were boards of El Al, Air France, Finnair and other airlines from all over world.
Uzbekistan Airways is the national air carrier of Uzbekistan, base airport is Tashkent.
Various fleet including B-787. Flight is also decent including New York, Tokyo, Seoul.
They called for boarding, a B-767 plane.
Business class. Layout 2-1-2
Well, I'm in economy.
Layout 2-3-2
In the seats there is a system entertainment.
There is information in Russian.
By the way, announcements from flight attendants and pilots are also in Russian, in addition to English and Uzbek.
Instructions and logbook.
Oh yes, and slippers.
The flight attendants handed out blankets and pillows, upon request from passengers.
The flight is almost full. We took off on time and headed north-west.
The flight attendants began service and offered drinks first, I took wine and nuts.
Then there was lunch.
Hot food, and steam salads, then tea and coffee.
I ate and drank, and began to monitor the movement of the plane on the monitor.
The flight lasted six hours.
A couple of hours before landing they offered a couple of simple sandwiches and tea and coffee.
People were mostly asleep, everything was calm, the children weren’t yelling, the men weren’t yelling.
We landed in Tashkent at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.
The flight connection was short, two hours.
Uzbek airlines left a good impression, not Emirates of course, but everything is at a good level.
Next flight to Tel Aviv in the next review.
