Hello aviation fans, I continue my reports on India. I am flying from Mumbai to Calcutta.
Indigo airline flight, 12/27/2025 at 15.00
Mumbai airport is large, two terminals and two metro stations.
They let you into the airport three hours before checking your passport and ticket. I'm tired of these guys in spotted uniforms, they check, they look as if this is their airport, and I'm here asking for a visit,
I took a walk near the terminal.
Next to the terminal on the street, there is a cafe, a smoking room, you can't smoke on the street, ha ha, toilets, fountains.
Went inside.
I didn’t stand in line at the check-in counter, I checked in at the machine, I didn’t have any luggage.
During the security check they took away... candles, a dangerous thing. But I brought the matches. Matches and lighters are confiscated.
In the clean area there are many cafes and shops, all sorts of business halls....
There are no price tags in the stores, well, why are they there?
I tried to buy a bottle of Pepsi in machine, cash didn’t work and it doesn’t accept bank cards.
The airport, as I understand it, is basic for Indigo and Air India.
Planes of various airlines, including Vistara, which merged with Air India, but the sides have not yet been repainted.
Fifty minutes before departure they called for boarding.
We were supposed to fly on A 321 neo.
B In India, it is customary to stand in line close to each other, so the aunt behind me kept pushing me....
There was a business class on the A 321 neo plane. I didn’t take a photo.
The load was almost full, I sat by the window.
Indigo airline is large, it has more than 400 planes.
Everyone sat down and drove to the end of the runway.
We let a couple of planes land and drove off.
Dusty Mumbai outside the window, and dusty Calcutta ahead.
By the way, Calcutta has been renamed to Calcutta.

The flight from Mumbai to Calcutta takes two and a penny hours.
The flight was calm, the children did not scream, no one shouted prayers, there were no rows.
We landed at Calcutta airport in the dark, didn’t take a photo.
As an innovation, there is now a metro station at Calcutta airport. The metro is old, dirty and dusty, just like everything else in Kolkata.
Indigo left a good impression with low prices and clean sides.
