CR929 is a long-range wide-body airliner project jointly developed CRAIC (China-Russia Commercial Aircraft International Corporation), a joint-venture between Chinese Comac and Russian UAC corporations.
According to the project, 3 modifications of the new airliner should be created:
CR929-500 (shortened fuselage version) - 250 passengers in a 3-class layout, flight range of 14,000 km;
CR929-600 (basic version) - 280 passengers in a 3-class layout, flight range of 12,000 km;
CR929-700 (extended fuselage version) - 320 passengers in a 3-class layout, flight range of 10,000 km.
The first flight of the CR929 is planned in 2023, deliveries to airlines according to the plan should begin in 2027.
