1 July 2025, Istanbul Airport. After an overnight flight on an Aeroflot B737, I was excited because it would be my first time flying to Athens, also on an Airbus A330-200 Sichuan Airlines! The age is about 15 years, decent, but still capable of a lot.
If we delve deeper into the question of what the Chinese carrier does on the flight between Turkey and Greece, then everything is extremely simple: the board makes a flight from Chengdu to Athens with a stop in Istanbul, where passengers have the opportunity enter/disembark.
To my surprise, the distance between the seats was less than in Aeroflot's B737, on a long-haul aircraft, for the record. My height is 185cm.

After the “Fasten your seat belts” sign disappeared, I began to study the interior. There were a lot of people, and there were just as many chairs. There were many Russian speakers among the passengers. The row with emergency exits was empty. Since “there is a throne, but there is no king,” I took my seat with great pride and stretched my legs.
The food provided was hot, tasty, aromatic tea. This was enough for an hour-long flight.
It is worth paying respect to the crew. The girl flying with me lost her phone, the flight attendants helped her in every possible way, even began to dismantle the upholstery of the seats, but the phone was eventually found.
After landing, the board parked away from the terminal, near the cargo area. We waited for the ramp for about half an hour; the most disappointed were the passengers who had already taken their suitcases from the luggage racks. As it turned out, there really weren’t enough ramps at the largest airport in Greece. In general, I liked the flight, but I’m sure that if I had been on a multi-hour flight, my opinion would have been different.
