I had a whole 24-hour layover in Baku. Spent the night at a hotel in the center and went to the airport in the evening. Flight to Delhi was at 02 am. I arrived about three hours before departure and found out that the flight was delayed by an hour and a half. Hang out at the airport. There weren't many people at the airport at night. Registration opened, it took a long time to check the electronic visa to India.
I registered and went to the clean zone. Baku Airport has 5 stars from Skytrax. At night there are not many passengers, there are many shops. But you can’t see the planes, it’s dark.
The flight to Delhi was delayed for another half an hour, they started handing out water and sandwiches at the counter at the gate.
The Indigo airline from India is gigantic, judging by open sources, the fleet consists of 434 aircraft. Of course, it flies a lot around India and abroad. From the in-flight magazine I learned that it also flies to the USA, Australia... but this is probably not the case, these are the airline’s partners flying, Indigo does not have long-haul flights.
They called us to board. Airplane A 320. Economy only, almost fully loaded.
The seats are new, everything is clean. From entertainment, in-flight magazine.
We took off, and service soon began. Indigo airline is budget, food is paid, with a free glass of water.
Passengers They ate, drank and fell asleep. Soon the flight attendants also fell asleep.
The flight from Baku to Delhi is five hours. After three hours of flight, it became light outside.
It was quiet, there were probably no children from Israel on board.
We arrived in Delhi at 10 o'clock in the morning. I exhaled and went out.
The airport was light and warm, and there were a lot of different planes. We went to the terminal by bus. Passport control with the e-visa went smoothly. There were a lot of flights ahead across India. Indigo Airlines was pleased with the clean board and was not pleased with the lack of service, but what can they take away from this tendency among airlines... not to feed.
