An absolute disaster and horrible security staff, the scanners do not work properly and it is the only airport in the world where they open up my hand luggage and take the longest time to check my accessories and jewelry! A shameful customer service as they stare at your personal small items such as bracelets or rings, and have the audacity to scan them again, probably looking for a way to steal, it happened in the past as they place jewelry on the scanner tray again for a second time and the owner is far away so you cannot see what they are doing! A shame and terrible personnel, lack of security trays, no seats at gates, not enough bathrooms etc a disaster!

My husband and son had a disgusting experience when they picked up their luggages at Otopeni; the bag had the front pockets pulled off, in rush obviously so the cheap person working there wouldn't be caught stealing 😬, and they had their medications stolen; asthma, cholesterol, pain/congestion etc. My son was in big pain all the way to their accommodation because of this! Shame on you!
